Have Some Good, Clean Fun With Our Fisherman's Lure Men's Soap
The black color in this bar is VERY unique. We use traditional shea butter African black soap which is made by the native African women of the village of Togo from the burned leaves of palm, paw paw fruit, herbs and shea butter. These skilled native women warn American purchasers to be wary of any mass-manufactured soap claiming to contain African black soap and say to trust small soapmakers if you want the assurance that you're getting the real thing in your bar soap. Don't be fooled by the knock-offs! Trust Dragonfly Soaps men's soaps, handcrafted in small, careful batches if you want the winning properties of real African black Soap.

The appealing marbled look of this soap is created by mixing soft African black soap with water and blending it into a couple cups of "traced" soap to color it black. This is then poured over and swirled into the rest of the batch of white soap. It's really a unique process and when you add to this the folklore that anise and licorice are purported to attract fish to the wearer, you've got a men's soap that Walton of The Compleat Angler would undoubtedly have called the finest ever made for fishermen!
